PAC meetings

Normally, members of the PAC meet three times per year at Canada Post Place (Head Office) in Ottawa, Ontario, however, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the meetings are held virtually. The meetings are held in English, but PAC members may communicate in English or in French. French comments will be translated as required. Meeting materials are provided in English and French. PAC members review and discuss the following information:

  • Pension investment Division reports
  • Activity reports on Canada Post pre-retirement seminars
  • Capital Accumulation Plans administration reports
  • Topics for PAC education sessions
  • Call centres performance reports
  • Pension Services and Pension investment Division operating expenses
  • Investment performance results
  • Environvental, Social and Governance (ESG) report

Annually:

  • Actuarial funding valuation report - Defined Benefit component
  • Investment benchmarking results
  • Amendments to the Statements of Investment Policies and Procedures
  • Corporate Governance Principles and Proxy Voting Guidelines
  • PAC schedule of meetings / workplan
